Miss Universe Cambodia 2022 was the 4th edition of the Miss Universe Cambodia pageant held on June 15, 2022 in Phnom Penh. Ngin Marady crowned Manita Hang as her successor at the end of the event. Background Location and date The fourth edition of the Miss Universe Cambodia beauty contest was scheduled to be held on 15 June 2022. The press conference of the contest was conducted at the Oakwood Premier in Phnom Penh on 30 April, in which the Bayon TV Steung Meanchey Studio in Phnom Penh will be served as the venue for the national costume parade, preliminary competition and the grand final coronation whereas R&F City Swimming Pool of R&F City Phnom Penh will be served as the venue for the swimsuit competition. Sarita Reth
Sarita Reth ( km, រ៉េត សារីតា; born 22 December 1994) is a Cambodian actress, model, presenter, and beauty pageant titleholder of Khmer origin, who was crowned Miss Universe Cambodia 2020. She represented Cambodia in Miss Universe 2020. As an actress, she is known for her role as Marima from ''Love9'', a TV program that tackles sexual and reproductive health. Life and work Sarita began her career in beauty pageants and got her start in the cast of the TV program ''Love9''. She is known to be an outspoken speaker on reproductive health among Cambodian youth. She is brand ambassador for several brands in Cambodia and has been cast in several films. She starred in the 2016 Cambodian horror film ''Mind Cage''. Miss Universe 2022
Miss Universe 2022 will be the 71st Miss Universe pageant, to be held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States on January 14, 2023. Harnaaz Sandhu of India will crown her successor at the end of the event. Contestants from 84 countries and territories will compete in this year's pageant. The competition will be hosted by Jeannie Mai and Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo; Culpo last served as host during Miss Universe 2020, while Mai last served as backstage correspondent during Miss Universe 2014. Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and Zuri Hall will serve as backstage correspondents. This will mark the first time in a 70-year history to have an all-female presenting panel. Tboung Khmum Province
Tboung Khmum ( km, ត្បូងឃ្មុំ ; meaning "Amber"), also spelled as Tbong Khmum, is a province of Cambodia located on the central lowlands of the Mekong River. It borders the provinces of Kampong Cham to the west, Kratié to the north, Prey Veng to the south and shares an international border with Vietnam to the east. Its capital and largest city is Suong. The province's name consists of two words in Khmer, ''tboung'' (gem, precious jewel) and ''khmum'' (bee), which together mean "amber". Kampot Province, Cambodia
Kampot ( km, កំពត ) is a province in southwestern Cambodia. It borders the provinces of Koh Kong and Kampong Speu to the north, Takéo to the east, Kep and the country of Vietnam ( Kiên Giang) to the south, and Sihanoukville to the west. To its south it has a coastline of around 45 km on the Gulf of Thailand. It is rich in low arable lands and has abundant natural resources. Its capital is the city of Kampot.
