Miss Universe 2024 will be the 73rd Miss Universe pageant, to be held in Mexico. Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua will crown her successor at the end of the event. Selection of participants In September 2023, during the Tanner Fletcher show at New York Fashion Week, Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel revealed that the Miss Universe Organization had made the decision to remove age restrictions for contestants over the age of 18, which would be implemented starting with the 2024 edition. Miss Universe 2023 will be the 72nd Miss Universe pageant to be held on late 2023 in El Salvador. R'Bonney Gabriel of the United States will crown her successor at the end of the event.
