Miss South Africa 2020
Miss South Africa 2020 was the 62nd edition of the Miss South Africa pageant, held at The Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town, on 24 October 2020. Sasha-Lee Olivier of Gauteng crowned Shudufhadzo Musida of Limpopo as her successor at the end of the event. She will represent South Africa at Miss World 2021. Musida, being the winner, also received prizes in excess of 3 million rand, including a car and one-year free stay in the Miss South Africa official apartment, located in Sandton, Johannesburg. First runner-up Thato Mosehle received 250,000 rand and represented South Africa at Miss Supranational 2021, second runner-up Natasha Joubert received 100,000 rand and represented South Africa at Miss Universe 2020. Shudufhadzo Musida
Shudufhadzo Musida (born 18 July 1996) is a South African model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss South Africa 2020. She is the second title holder from the province of Limpopo - the first being Bokang Montjane. She is the first title holder whose first language is Venda, and was selected to represent South Africa in Miss World 2022. Musida is the first bald woman to win Miss South Africa. She is a dedicated advocate and spokeswoman for mental health awareness and empowering women and children. Early life Shudufhadzo Musida was born on 18 July 1996. She is from Ha-Masia village, Vhembe District Municipality of the Limpopo province. Musida studied at the University of Pretoria where she earned a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Gauteng

Soweto () is a Township (South Africa), township of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality in Gauteng, South Africa, bordering the city's mining belt in the south. Its name is an English syllabic abbreviation for ''South Western Townships''. Gqeberha ( , ), formerly named Port Elizabeth, and colloquially referred to as P.E., is a major seaport and the most populous city in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. It is the seat of the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality, South Africa's second-smallest metropolitan municipality by area. It is the sixth-most populous city in South Africa and is the cultural, economic and financial hub of the Eastern Cape. Eastern Cape
The Eastern Cape ( ; ) is one of the nine provinces of South Africa. Its capital is Bhisho, and its largest city is Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). Due to its climate and nineteenth-century towns, it is a common location for tourists. It is also known for having been home to many anti-apartheid activists, including Nelson Mandela. North West (South African Province)
North West ( ; ) is a province of South Africa. Its capital is Mahikeng. The province is located to the west of the major population centre and province of Gauteng and south of Botswana. History North West was incorporated after the end of apartheid in 1994, and includes parts of the former Transvaal Province and Cape Province, as well as most of the former bantustan of Bophuthatswana. Miss Universe 2020
Miss Universe 2020 was the 69th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, United States, on 16 May 2021. At the end of the event, Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa crowned Andrea Meza of Mexico as Miss Universe 2020. It was Mexico’s first victory in ten years and the third victory for the country in the pageant’s history. Contestants from seventy-four countries and territories competed in this year's pageant, featuring the smallest number of candidates at the pageant since 2003. The competition was hosted by Mario Lopez and Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo. Natasha Joubert
Natasha Joubert (born 24 July 1997) is a South African beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss South Africa 2023. She was previously the second runner-up in Miss South Africa 2020, and later represented South Africa at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant. Early life and education Joubert was born on 23 July 1997 in Pretoria. Her father died when Joubert was a teenager, while her mother, Ninette, was a final year Bachelor of Laws student at the time of Joubert competing in Miss South Africa 2020. She is the youngest of three siblings. Joubert was raised in Centurion, Gauteng, and attended Hoërskool Eldoraigne. Miss Supranational 2021
Miss Supranational 2021 was the 12th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant. It was held on 21 August 2021, in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Anntonia Porsild of Thailand crowned Chanique Rabe of Namibia as her successor at the end of the event. This edition marks the first time in history that an African country won the Miss Supranational pageant. The edition was originally scheduled at the end of 2020 but was postponed due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
