Miss Philippines Earth 2004
Miss Philippines Earth 2004 was the 4th edition of the Miss Philippines Earth pageant. It was held on May 2, 2004 at the UP Theater, University of the Philippines in Quezon City, Metro Manila. The event was broadcast by ABS-CBN Network in the Philippines and The Filipino Channel internationally. Laura Marie Dunlap, Miss Philippines 2003 crowned her successor, Tamera Szijarto as Miss Philippines Earth 2004 at the conclusion of the event. Szijarto won against 23 other candidates and became the representative of Philippines in the international Miss Earth 2004 beauty pageant. Tamera Szijarto
Tamera Marie Lagac Szijarto is a Filipino actress, entrepreneur and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2004. Pageantry Szijarto started as a model in the Philippines in 2003. On the same year, she participated in a provincial beauty pageant for the first time and represented her municipality of Kawit in Cavite and won the Mutya ng Cavite Tourism 2003. In 2004, she won the Miss Lyceum of the Philippines University pageant. She participated in national pageant and was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2004 in Quezon City, Philippines in May 2004, by the previous year's winner, Laura Marie Dunlap. Miss Earth 2003 was the 3rd edition of the Miss Earth pageant, held on November 9, 2003, at the University of the Philippines Theater in Quezon City, Philippines. Fifty-seven delegates from all over the globe participated in the event. The pageant was broadcast live via ABS-CBN in the Philippines and to many countries worldwide via Star World, The Filipino Channel and other partner networks. Winfred Omwakwe from Kenya crowned her successor Dania Prince of Honduras the end of the event.
