Miss Panamá 2014, the 48th Annual edition of the Miss Panamá pageant, selected representatives from Panama to Miss World, Miss Universe & Miss Intercontinental pageant. The pageant was split into two contests: Miss Panamá Mundo and Miss Panamá Universo. It was broadcast live on Telemetro. About 16 contestants from all over Panamá competed for the crown. Miss Panamá 2013, Carolina Brid of Veraguas crowned Yomatzy Maurineth Hazlewood De La Rosa of Darién at the end of the event as the new Miss Panamá Universe, also Sara Bello Miss Intercontinental Panamá 2013 of Los Santos crowned to Stephanie Gonzáles of Los Santos as the new Miss Intercontinental Panamá. There was a new change after four years was continued the final competition entitled "Miss Panamá World" was announced the winner of the ''Miss Panamá Mundo'' title. Miss World
Miss World is the oldest existing international beauty pageant. It was created in the United Kingdom by Eric Morley in 1951. Since his death in 2000, Morley's widow, Julia Morley, has co-chaired the pageant. Along with Miss Universe, Miss International, and Miss Earth, it is one of the Big Four beauty pageants. The current Miss World is Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand who was crowned on 31 May 2025 in Hyderabad, India. Miss World 2014
Miss World 2014 was the 64th edition of the Miss World pageant, held at the ExCeL London in London, United Kingdom, on 14 December 2014. Megan Young of the Philippines crowned Rolene Strauss of South Africa as her successor at the end of the event. This is the second time that South Africa has won the title outright and the third time they have held the title. Stephanie Marie Vander Werf Lobato, (born October 26, 1986) is a Panamanian TV host, model and beauty pageant titleholder who won the Miss Panama 2012 on March 30, 2012, for the Miss Universe 2012 contest. Nuestra Belleza México 2011, the 18th annual Nuestra Belleza México beauty pageant, was held at the Centro Internacional de Convenciones in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico on August 20, 2011. Thirty-four contestants from the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Karina González from Aguascalientes who later competed in Miss Universe 2012 in the United States, where she was a Semifinalist in the Top 10. González was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Karin Ontiveros and Miss Universe 2010 titleholder Ximena Navarrete. She was the first Hidrocalida to win this title. Laura Karina González Muñoz (born March 28, 1991) is a Mexican TV host, model, and beauty pageant titleholder who won Nuestra Belleza México 2011. she represented Mexico at Miss Universe 2012 in Las Vegas and placed in the Top 10. Coclé Province
Coclé () is a province of central Panama on the nation's southern coast. The administrative capital is the city of Penonomé. This province was created by the Act of September 12, 1855 with the title of Department of Coclé during the presidency of Dr. Justo de Arosemena. Miss Panamá 2015 was held at the Megapolis Convention Center on Monday, August 24, 2015. The event was broadcast on Telemetro. Miss Panamá 2014, Yomatzy Hazlewood of Darién crowned her successor Gladys Brandao of Los Santos, as the Miss Panama. Nicole Pinto, Miss World Panama 2014 of Panamá Oeste, crowned her successor, Diana Jaen of Cocle, as the Miss World Panama winner and Marisel Franco of Veraguas crowned her successor Catherine Agrazal of Veraguas.
