Miss France 2024
Miss France 2024 was the 94th edition of the Miss France pageant. The competition was held on 16 December 2023 at the Zénith de Dijon in Dijon. Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe crowned Eve Gilles of Nord Pas-de-Calais as her successor at the end of the event. The 2024 edition marked the first time Sylvie Tellier has not served as a co-presenter of the show since joining the production for Miss France 2009, following her departure from Miss France at the conclusion of Miss France 2023, in addition to the first edition since the death of Geneviève de Fontenay, the president of the Miss France Committee from 1981 to 2007. The 2024 edition was also the final edition of Miss France under the leadership of president Alexia Laroche-Joubert, who departed following the conclusion of the pageant. Eve Gilles
Eve Gilles (born 9 July 2003) is a French model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss France 2024. She had previously been crowned Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais 2023 and is the fourth woman from Nord-Pas-de-Calais to win Miss France. Due to her pixie cut, Gilles was also cited by the French media as the first woman with short hair to become Miss France. François Rebsamen
François Rebsamen (born 25 June 1951) is a French politician who was the Minister of Social Affairs from 2014 to 2015. He is a member of the Socialist Party. Early life and education Rebsamen is the son of Eric Gottfried Rebsamen, a Protestant who was born in Stuttgart on 9 January 1917, and worked at Renault in Dijon for several months in 1939–40. In that same city, after the war, the senior Rebsamen married Denise Agron, daughter of Édouard Agron, a surgeon and radical socialist, originally from Briennon in the Loire, who was a member of Dijon's municipal council under the Popular Front. The senior Rebsamen died in Dijon on 19 February 1974. François Rebsamen earned a master's degree in public law, a DESS in economics and a degree in political science. Miss French Guiana (french: Miss Guyane) is a French beauty pageant which selects a representative for the Miss France national competition from the overseas region of French Guiana. The first Miss French Guiana was crowned in 1960, while the first Miss French Guiana to compete in Miss France was crowned in 1987. The regional competition has been held regularly since 1998. La Première is a French network of radio and television stations operating in France's overseas departments and collectivities around the world. History The service was first established in 1954 as the Radiodiffusion de la France Outre-Mer (RFOM). It was renamed a year later as the Société de radiodiffusion de la France d'outre-mer (SORAFOM). Miss France 2014
Miss France 2014 was the 84th Miss France pageant, held in Dijon on 13 December 2013. Miss France 2013, Marine Lorphelin of Burgundy crowned her successor Flora Coquerel of Orléanais (now Centre-Val de Loire) at the end of the event. It was the first time that the pageant took place in Dijon and in the Burgundy region. The theme of the event was "Disney", it was presented by the national director Sylvie Tellier and Jean-Pierre Foucault for the 19st consecutive year. The event was broadcast live by TF1. The winner was Miss Orléanais, Flora Coquerel, who gave to her region its first ever Miss France title.
