Miss Europe 1991
Miss Europe 1991 was the 46th edition of the Miss Europe pageant and the 35th edition under the Mondial Events Organization. It was held in Dakar, Senegal on 29 June 1991. Susanne Petry of Germany, was originally crowned Miss Europe 1991, but was later "dismissed" and dethroned. The crown then went to Katerina Michalopoulou of Greece. They both succeeded outgoing titleholder Michela Rocco di Torrepadula of Italy. Miss Europe 1992 was the 47th edition of the Miss Europe pageant and the 36th edition under the Mondial Events Organization. It was held in Athens, Greece on June 15, 1992. Marina Tsintikidou of Greece, was crowned Miss Europe 1992 by out going titleholder Katerina Michalopoulou of Greece. Baltic States
The Baltic states, et, Balti riigid or the Baltic countries is a geopolitical term, which currently is used to group three countries: Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. All three countries are members of NATO, the European Union, the Eurozone, and the OECD. The three sovereign states on the eastern coast of the Baltic Sea are sometimes referred to as the "Baltic nations", less often and in historical circumstances also as the "Baltic republics", the "Baltic lands", or simply the Baltics. Tanja Karpela
Tanja Tellervo Karpela (''née'' Vienonen; ''previously'' Karpela and Saarela; born 22 August 1970) is a Finnish former politician. As a beauty queen, she was Miss Finland in 1991. She was a Member of Parliament from 1999 to 2011 and served in the government of Finland as Minister of Culture from 2003 to 2007.She remains, however, most well known for her colourful personal life which has often hit the headlines in the media – a former underwear model, she is a convicted drink driver and is currently on her third marriage. Defne Samyeli (born 17 March 1972) is a Turkish TV presenter, columnist, singer and actress. Life Samyeli was born as the first child of an Istanbul admiral Haluk and hotel manager Sendegül who is from Adana's Ramazanoğullar family. In 1991, she ranked third on Turkey's beauty pageant. Silvia Jato Núñez (born 6 June 1971 in Lugo, Spain) is a Spanish TV presenter and model. She studied Economics at CEU San Pablo University, Madrid. She had three children with pilot Eduardo San Román, to whom she separated from in 2012, after being married to him since 1998. She began as a model, and took part in Miss Spain in 1989 (being Maid of Honour) and in Miss Europe in 1991 (being Maid of Honour, Miss Photogenic and Miss Sympathy).
