A beauty pageant is a competition in which the contestants are judged and ranked based on various physical and mental attributes. Per its name, beauty pageants traditionally focus on judging the contestants' physical attractiveness, sometimes solely so, but most modern beauty pageants have since expanded to also judge contestants based on "inner beauty"—their individual traits and characteristics, including personality, Human intelligence, intelligence, aptitude, moral character, and Charity (practice), charity. Though typically perceived as a female-oriented competition, male beauty pageants also exist, as do child beauty pageants for youth. Dayanna Grageda (born 5 March 1992) is a Bolivian-Australian environmental advocate, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Earth Australia 2015 and later that year won the international title of Miss Earth Air 2015. Dayanna holds the highest recorded placement for both an Australian and an ethnically Bolivian beauty queen in Miss Earth history. Miss Earth 2015 Dayanna joined the Miss Earth Australia pageant in 2015 and won the national Australian title of Miss Earth Australia 2015. She then went onto compete in the international Miss Earth 2015 pageant held in Vienna, Austria on 5 December 2015. Mascot is an inner south suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Miss Earth 2011, the 11th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, was held on December 3, 2011 at the University of the Philippines Theater, inside the campus of the University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City, Philippines. Nicole Faria of India crowned her successor Olga Álava of Ecuador at the end of the event. The show was aired live by Channel V at 8:00 pm, while Star World broadcast on Sunday, 4 December at 6:00 pm, ABS-CBN and Studio 23 broadcast on the same day at 10:30 pm. There was also a delayed telecast of the show on The Filipino Channel and on the television stations of other participating countries. Miss Earth 2010 was the 10th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, held at the Vinpearl Land Amphitheater in Nha Trang, Vietnam, on December 4, 2010.
