Miss Cosmo 2024
Miss Cosmo 2024 was the inaugural edition of the Miss Cosmo pageant, held at the Saigon Riverside Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on 5 October 2024. At the end of the event, Ketut Permata Juliastrid of Indonesia was crowned by the CEO of the Miss Cosmo Organization, Trần Việt Bảo Hoàng, as the inaugural titleholder. Delegates from fifty-six countries and territories competed in this edition. Kylie Verzosa, Miss International 2016, and Bùi Đức Bảo served as the host for both the preliminary night and the grand finale. Background Location and date The pageant was held at Saigon Riverside Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from 15 September to 5 October 2024, with participants from fifty-nine countries and territories. Ketut Permata Juliastrid Sari (; born 12 July 2003) is an Indonesian beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Cosmo 2024, becoming the first Miss Cosmo winner. She had previously won the title Puteri Indonesia 2024, Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2024. Early life and education Ketut Permata Juliastrid Sari grew up in Sanur, Bali, Sanur, a Tourist village (Indonesia), tourist village, Denpasar. Bùi Thị Xuân Hạnh is a Vietnamese beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2023 and represented Vietnam at Miss Cosmo 2024 on 5 October 2024 in Vietnam. Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 was the 3rd edition of the Miss Universe Vietnam pageant. It was held on January 6, 2018 at Crown Convention Center, Nha Trang. Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 Phạm Thị Hương crowned her successor H'Hen Niê at the end of the event. H'Hen Niê was appointed as Miss Universe Vietnam, Miss Universe Vietnam 2018 to represent Vietnam at Miss Universe 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand, finishing in the Top 5. H'Hen Niê ( ; born 15 May 1992) is a Vietnamese people, Vietnamese model and beauty pageant titleholder. After winning Miss Universe Vietnam 2017, she represented Vietnam at Miss Universe 2018, and reached the Top 5 finalist, the current best placement for Vietnam. She was the first Miss Universe participant from Vietnam to be from an ethnic minority group. She is also a commissioner in the Vietnam Youth Federation. Miss Universe 2021 was the 70th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Universe Dome in Eilat, Israel on 13 December 2021.
