Miss Asia Pageant
ATV Miss Asia Pageant () is an annual Hong Kong–based beauty pageant organized and broadcast by Asia Television (ATV). Originating in 1985 as a local Hong Kong pageant, the contest went on a hiatus from 2000 through 2003, and was re-branded as an Asian pageant in 2004, with contestants spanning the continent of Asia. The pageant was ceased to exist in 2015 with the shutdown of its organizer, ATV. In 2018, ATV announced that they are rebooting the pageant, after their transition from a terrestrial broadcast operation to an online media company. The pageant, which will be partnered with South Korean company CJ E&M, was reported by the media as "ATV's biggest investment of the year". Asia Television Limited (, also known as ATV) is a digital media and broadcasting company in Hong Kong. Established as the first television service in Hong Kong as Rediffusion Television () on 29 May 1957, it shifted to terrestrial television in 1973 and was renamed as Asia Television (ATV) in 1982. Miss Hong Kong Pageant (), or Miss HK () for short, is an annual beauty pageant organised by local Hong Kong television station, TVB. The pageant was established in 1946, and acquired by TVB in 1973. The age requirement is 17–27 as of 2011, though the upper age was previously up to 25. Miss Chinese International Pageant ( zh, 國際中華小姐競選, formerly 國際華裔小姐競選), or MCI ( zh, 華姐) for short, is an annual international beauty pageant, organized and broadcast by Television Broadcasts Limited, TVB, a network television station in Hong Kong. It was established in 1988 and the Chinese name of the pageant was rebranded in 2007. Miss Asia Pacific International
Miss Asia Pacific International is one of the oldest international beauty pageants, based in Manila, Philippines. It was founded in 1965 as Miss Asia and later renamed Miss Asia Pacific in 1984, followed by Miss Asia Pacific Quest in 1985 when Latin American and Pacific countries were included. In 2005, it was renamed to its current title, Miss Asia Pacific International. The current titleholder is Janelis Leyba of the United States, who was crowned Miss Asia Pacific International 2024 on 7 October 2024 at Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay, Philippines.
