Miss Asia Pacific World
Miss Asia Pacific World is an annual beauty pageant held in South Korea. It has been subject to a number of controversies over rankings, bribes, and breast augmentation surgeries. In the 2014 Miss Asia Pacific World competition, May Myat Noe of Myanmar crowned on 31 May 2014, but dethroned three months later. This prompted the organization to conduct a new pageant in the following months. The title was won by Swetha Raj from India. In 2015, the pageant was renamed Miss Supertalent, Miss Supertalent of the World. History The first Miss Asia Pacific World pageant was held in Busan, South Korea, on 15 October 2011. Jung Eun A of Korea was crowned. The second annual Miss Asia Pacific World pageant took place in 2012 in Seoul, South Korea, on 16 June. Himangini Singh Yadu of India won the title. A beauty pageant is a competition in which the contestants are judged and ranked based on various physical and mental attributes. Per its name, beauty pageants traditionally focus on judging the contestants' physical attractiveness, sometimes solely so, but most modern beauty pageants have since expanded to also judge contestants based on "inner beauty"—their individual traits and characteristics, including personality, Human intelligence, intelligence, aptitude, moral character, and Charity (practice), charity. Srishti Rana is an Indian model and beauty pageant titleholder. She participated in Miss Diva - Miss Universe India 2013 and won the title of Miss India Asia Pacific 2013. She went on to represent India at Miss Asia Pacific World 2013 in October 2013, which took place in Seoul, Korea. Quinta Vergara Amphitheater
The Quinta Vergara Amphitheater is an open-air amphitheater within the Parque Quinta Vergara in Viña del Mar, Chile. The amphitheater is the site of the Viña del Mar International Song Festival held yearly in February. The venue is owned by the Viña del Mar Municipality. History After the success of the first Viña del Mar International Song Festival in 1960, it was decided to replace the stage with a more stable one. In 1963 the architect Hernando López began the construction of the venue, which would be a wood structure that was like an "acoustic shell" that helped the artist to project the sound to the audience and to protect the artists from the elements.
