Mishak Makhur
Mishak Makhur (, lit. ''Sold Game'' or ''Fixed Game'') is an Israeli TV current affairs show that was broadcast on Channel 2 between 2004 and 2006. It was produced for Reshet by Ma'agalot Productions. During 2008, rumors about possible return to the screen were heard. The show was the first comedy panel show in the Israeli TV. The original line-up, in 2004, included Einav Galili as chairman, with Lior Schleien, the creator of the show, comedians Guri Alfi and Reshef Levi, and Gil Riva, a flamboyant journalist. In the second season, Reshef and Gil left the show while Lior and Guri remained as team captains accompanied by a guest host, often a politician, journalist or comedian. Lior Schleien ( he, ליאור שליין; born 1 July 1978) is an Israeli television producer and host. Early life Lior Schleien was born in 1978 in Tel Aviv, Israel to Jewish parents of Lithuanian descent. He holds law degrees from Tel Aviv University. Career He started his television career in 2002, by writing and hosting a satire segment on Yair Lapid's talk show. Guri Alfi
Guri (, lit. Nine Villages Town(Town of Nine Villages) is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It is located immediately to the east of Seoul, in the heart of the Capital Metropolitan Area. The Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty are located in the city. The hill of Achasan is also located here, site of the Baekje-era Achasanseong and numerous hiking trails. Reshet ( he, רשת, ''lit.'' "Network") is an Israeli television broadcasting and production company. It was one of the two concessionaires running the Israeli commercial television channel, Channel 2 from 1993 to 2017, and is running channel 13 alongside RGE media group at the present. Reshet is considered one of the most successful television channels in Israel. Channel 2 ( he, ערוץ שתיים, Arutz Shtaim), also called "The Second Channel" ( he, הערוץ השני, HaArutz HaSheni) was an Israeli commercial television channel. It started doing experimental broadcasts funded by the television tax. The channel started commercial broadcasting on 4 November 1993 regulated and managed by The Second Authority for Television and Radio. Roast (comedy)
A roast is a form of humor in which a specific individual, a guest of honor, is subjected to jokes at their expense, intended to amuse the event's wider audience. Such events are intended to honor a specific individual in a unique way. In addition to jokes and insult comedy, such events may also involve genuine praise and tributes. The implication is that the roastee is able to take the jokes in good humor and not as serious criticism or insult. The individual is surrounded by friends, fans, and well-wishers, who can receive some of the same treatment as well during the course of the evening. The party and presentation itself are both referred to as a ''roast''. The host of the event is called the roastmaster, a pun on toastmaster.
