The Misawa Helicopter Airlift Squadron () also known as the Misawa Helicopter Transport Squadron is a unit of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. It comes under the authority of the Air Rescue Wing. It is based at Misawa Air Base in Aomori Prefecture. It is equipped with CH-47J aircraft. Japan Air Self-Defense Force

Misawa Air Base
is an air base of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF), List of United States Air Force installations, the United States Air Force, and the United States Navy located in Misawa, Aomori, Misawa, Aomori Prefecture, Aomori, in the northern part of the island of Honshū of Japan. The is a Wing (military aviation unit), wing of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. Responsible for airborne search and rescue, it is headquartered at Iruma Air Base in Saitama Prefecture and controls squadrons and detachments across Japan.
