Mirro Roder
Mirro Roder (January 22, 1944 – July 9, 2021) was an American football placekicker who played three seasons in the National Football League. He played three seasons for the Chicago Bears, and two games for the expansion Tampa Bay Buccaneers The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a professional American football team based in Tampa, Florida. Olomouc

Robert Lee Rayford (February 3, 1953 – May 15 1969), sometimes identified as Robert R. due to his age, was an American teenager from Missouri who has been suggested to represent the earliest confirmed case of HIV/AIDS in North America based on evidence which was published in 1988 in which the authors claimed that medical evidence indicated that he was "infected with a virus closely related or identical to human immunodeficiency virus type 1." Rayford died of pneumonia, but his other symptoms baffled the doctors who treated him. A study published in 1988 reported the detection of antibodies against HIV. Results of testing for HIV genetic material were reported once at a scientific conference in Australia in 1999; however, the data has never been published in a peer-reviewed medical or scientific journal. Mac Percival
Mac L. Percival (born February 26, 1940, in Vernon, Texas) is a former American football placekicker in the National Football League for the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys. He played college basketball at Texas Tech University. Early years Percival attended Vernon High School. He used a straight-away style as one of the kickers for the football team, but was only involved in kickoffs and extra points. He also lettered in basketball, which was his main sport. He accepted a basketball scholarship from Texas Tech University, but did not play football during his time in college. Professional career Dallas Cowboys (first stint) In the Sixties, the Dallas Cowboys employed a kicking caravan search to unearth potential kickers. Placekicker
Placekicker, or simply kicker (PK or K), is the player in gridiron football who is responsible for the kicking duties of field goals and extra points. In many cases, the placekicker also serves as the team's kickoff specialist or punter. Specialized role The kicker initially was not a specialized role. Prior to the 1934 standardization of the prolate spheroid shape of the ball, drop kicking was the prevalent method of kicking field goals and conversions, but even after its replacement by place kicking, until the 1960s the kicker almost always doubled at another position on the roster.
