Mirch Masala
''Mirch Masala'' (Translation: Hot Spice) is a 1987 Hindi psychological thriller film directed by Ketan Mehta. It stars Naseeruddin Shah and Smita Patil in the lead roles. On the centenary of Indian cinema in April 2013, ''Forbes'' included Smita Patil's performance in the film on its list, "25 Greatest Acting Performances of Indian Cinema". Ketan Mehta
Ketan Mehta (born 21 July 1952) is an Indian film director, producer and screenwriter who has also directed documentaries and television serials since 1975. Early life and education Born on 21 July 1952 in Navsari in Gujarat, Mehta did his schooling from Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, Delhi and later graduated in film direction from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. Career During his career, Mehta has made ten feature films, seven documentaries and two television serials – '' Captain Vyom'' and '' Mr. Yogi''. Subedar ( ) is a military rank in the militaries of South Asia roughly equivalent to that of a warrant officer. Ram Gopal Bajaj is an Indian theatre director, academic, and a Hindi film actor. He has also been a faculty member and a former director of National School of Drama, New Delhi (November 1995 – September 2001).
