The Provincial Assembly of Balochistan is a unicameral legislature of elected representatives of the Pakistani province of Balochistan, Pakistan, Balochistan, and is located in Quetta, the provincial capital. It was established under Article 106 of the Constitution of Pakistan having a total of 65 seats, with 51 general seats, 11 seats reserved for women and 3 reserved for non-Muslims. Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP; ur, , ) is a political party in Pakistan. It was founded by Jahangir Tareen on 8 June 2023. It was registered with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on 5 October 2023. History The pre-existing tensions between Tareen and Imran Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, combined with the May 9 protests, ultimately resulted in numerous politicians resigning from the PTI and the subsequent formation of the new political party. Around one hundred leaders from all around Pakistan attended a dinner organized by Aleem Khan, where it was revealed that the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party had been formed. 2018 Pakistani General Election
General elections were held in Pakistan on Wednesday, 25 July 2018 to elect the members of 15th National Assembly and the four Provincial Assemblies. The three major parties Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led by Imran Khan, the Pakistan Muslim League led by Shehbaz Sharif and the Pakistan Peoples Party led by Bilawal Bhutto. Jam Mir Kamal Khan Alyani (; born 1 January 1970) is a Pakistani politician who served as the 16th Chief Minister of Balochistan, between August 2018 and October 2021. Balochistan ( ; bal, بلۏچستان; also romanised as Baluchistan and Baluchestan) is a historical region in Western and South Asia, located in the Iranian plateau's far southeast and bordering the Indian Plate and the Arabian Sea coastline. This arid region of desert and mountains is primarily populated by ethnic Baloch people. The Balochistan region is split between three countries: Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
