Mir Changez Khan Jamali
Mir Changez Khan Jamali is a Pakistani politician who was a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2008 to 2013. Political career He ran for the seat of the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan as a candidate of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) from Constituency PB-26 (Nasirabad-II) in 2008 Pakistani general election but was unsuccessful. He received 9,204 votes and lost the seat to Zahoor Hussain Khoso. He was elected unopposed to the National Assembly of Pakistan from Constituency NA-266 (Nasirabad-cum-Jaffarabad) as a candidate of PPP in by-election held in May 2009. On 11 February 2011, he was inducted into the federal cabinet of Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani and was appointed as Federal Minister for Science and Technology where he continued to serve until 19 June 2012. The Provincial Assembly of Balochistan is a unicameral legislature of elected representatives of the Pakistani province of Balochistan, and is located in Quetta, the provincial capital. It was established under Article 106 of the Constitution of Pakistan having a total of 65 seats, with 51 general seats, 11 seats reserved for women and 3 reserved for non-Muslims. Zahoor Hussain Khoso
Mir Zahoor Hussain Khan Khoso (; died 23 April 2023) was a Pakistani politician who was the speaker of the Balochistan Assembly from 31 May 1990 to 17 November 1990, as well as being leader of the Rind tribe. He also served as an MPA in Balochistan for PP26. He was affiliated with the Balochistan National Party, and a political rival of the former Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali. In 2005, Zahoor helped negotiate a political truce between his Rind tribe and the Jamalis tribe in Jaffarabad district, having shook hands for the first time in four decades and deciding to "cooperate for the betterment of the people of the area". 2013 Pakistani General Election
General elections were held in Pakistan on Saturday 11 May 2013 to elect the members of the 14th National Assembly and the four Provincial Assemblies. The three major parties were the Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) led by Nawaz Sharif, the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) led by President Asif Ali Zardari and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led by Imran Khan. Prior to the elections, the ruling PPP formed an alliance with the Pakistan Muslim League (Q) and Awami National Party, while the main opposition party, the PML-N allied with the Pakistan Muslim League (F) and Baloch parties. Zafarullah Khan Jamali
Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali (; 1 January 1940 – 2 December 2020) was a Pakistani politician who served as the 15th prime minister of Pakistan from 2002 until his resignation in 2004. He was the first and only elected prime minister from Balochistan, Pakistan. Originally a supporter of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Jamali emerged from the politics of Balochistan under military governor Rahimuddin Khan during the 1970s.
