"Minsan" (English: “Sometimes”) is a song by the Philippine alternative rock band Eraserheads from their second album ''Circus'' (1993). Composition The song is described as a nostalgic tune “fitting enough to be a graduation anthem”. Written by Ely Buendia, it mentions Kalayaan (translated as “freedom”), a dormitory building where he stayed while studying at UP Diliman. Buendia later debunked theories that the song was about his friendship with his bandmates in a podcast interview in 2021. “That song was actually about my actual friends — the friends that was with me during my stay at Kalayaan,” he said. His further comments that he was never close with his bandmates sparked online backlash, to which he responded: “The music is all that matters, have you forgotten about that, and who wrote most of it? Lily (band)
Lily (stylized in all caps, formerly known as Callalily) is a pop rock band from the Philippines formed in 2005. The band is currently composed of Lem Belaro, Aaron Ricafrente, Nathan Reyes, Joshua Bulot, Ezra Bañez, and Alden Acosta, the band's original lead guitarist who reunited with the band in 2022, twelve years after he left in 2010. Notable former members include Kean Cipriano, the band's frontman for 17 years since the band's inception, who later embarked on a solo career and opened his own record label, and Tatsi Jamnague who later joined the band Gracenote (band), Gracenote. ''Pop Machine the Album: A Collective of Artists Turning Heads This 2020'' is the third tribute album to the Philippine alternative rock band Eraserheads. It was released on June 12, 2020 by Noisemakers. The album features covers of Eraserheads songs as performed by Filipino artists, which were gradually released throughout late 2019 and early 2020. Munimuni
Munimuni is a Filipino indie folk band from Quezon City, Philippines. The band currently consists of Adj Jiao (guitar, vocals), John Owen Castro (flute, vocals), Jolo Ferrer (bass), Josh Tumaliuan (drums), and Ben Ayes (guitar). History Formation (2012-2013) Munimuni was formed in UP Diliman, where TJ de Ocampo met Adj Jiao who was, at that time, doing a musical project with Red Calayan. Raimund Marasigan
Raimund Emmanuel Parcon Marasigan (born May 22, 1971) is a Filipino musician and record producer. He is best known as the drummer of the alternative rock band Eraserheads. Marasigan has been described as "the busiest man in the Pinoy music scene". Raised in Candelaria, Quezon, Marasigan attended University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City, where he met Ely Buendia, who had posted an audition notice for a new band.
