Jaume Plensa
Jaume Plensa i Suñé (; born 23 August 1955) is a Spanish people, Catalan visual artist, sculptor, designer and engraver. He has also created opera sets, video projections and acoustic installations. Biography Plensa was born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. He left the studies of fine arts in Barcelona and continued to train in a self-taught way. Works Plensa's works include the ''Crown Fountain'' at Millennium Park in Chicago, Illinois, which opened in July 2004.. The fountain is composed of a black granite reflecting pool placed between a pair of glass brick towers. Pride Park is a park in Miami Beach, across from the Miami Beach Convention Center. The park was named to show community support for the LGBTQ community as well as civic pride for the Miami Beach community. Pride Park is part of the Miami Beach City Center Campus in the Miami Beach Convention Center district. The park is host to a number of events including the Miami Boat Show, Art Basel events and an outdoor film series. History In April 2019, construction started to convert the main convention center parking lot into a park. Norman Braman (born August 23, 1932) is an American billionaire car dealer, art collector, and former owner of the Philadelphia Eagles. Early life and education Braman was born in 1932 in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and grew up in the Cobbs Creek section of Philadelphia, where his father owned a barbershop. Braman's parents were Jewish immigrants from Europe. His Romanian-born mother was a seamstress and his Polish father a barber. Braman was a water boy in his teenage years at the Eagles training camp, which was then in Hershey, Pennsylvania. During the season, he would sneak into Shibe Park to watch the team play. Braman attended West Philadelphia High School and graduated from Temple University in 1955 with a degree in business administration.
