Timiș () is a county (''județ'') of western Romania on the border with Hungary and Serbia, in the historical regions of Romania, historical region of Banat, with the county seat at Timișoara. Ohaba (; ) is a commune located in Alba County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of four villages: Colibi (''Székás''), Măghierat (''Magyarádtanya''), Ohaba, and Secășel (''Szekasbesenyö''; ''Heidendorf''). Secaș
Secaș (; ) is a commune in Timiș County, Romania. It is composed of four villages: Checheș, Crivobara, Secaș (commune seat) and Vizma. History Secaș first appears in written history in 1440. At that time it was assigned to Arad County, was called ''Kyszekas'' ("Little Secaș") and belonged to the Șoimoș Fortress. It continued to exist during the Ottoman period, as Marsigli's writings from 1690–1700 mention it as inhabited. After the conquest of Banat by the Austrians in 1717, the first census took place, in which two localities were recorded: ''Georg in Sekasch'' with seven houses and ''Dollnischas'' with 14 houses, both in the Lipova District. It is not mentioned on the map from 1761, but the very old Orthodox parish has registers since 1779. Later, only one village, Secaș, inhabited by Romanians, is recorded. Paniova
Ghizela (; ) is a commune in Timiș County, Romania. It is composed of four villages: Ghizela (commune seat), Hisiaș, Paniova and Șanovița. History Ghizela was founded by German colonists in 1880. The journey they took to settle here was a longer one. They came from Giselahein (near Pančevo, in the Serbian Banat), where they had settled in 1868. But before that they had come from the village of Molydorf (near Zrenjanin, now disappeared), founded by the first German colonists in 1832. The first generation of colonists was from Alsace and Lorraine. The new settlement was located on a cleared land that belonged to Babșa and Șanovița. The name was given after the village of Giselahein, where the German colonists had come from. In 1906 a second wave of colonization took place, this time with 45 Hungarian families.
