Ministry of Infrastructure and Construction (Polish: ''Ministerstwo Infrastruktury i Budownictwa'') was the office of government in Poland responsible for construction and infrastructure. Andrzej Adamczyk was the only Minister of Infrastructure and Construction. It was created in late 2015 from the split of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development, in 2018 became Ministry of Infrastructure. Headquarters The building of the Ministry of Communication is a modernist office building at 4/6 Tytusa Chałubińskiego Street in Warsaw, erected between 1929 and 1931, designed by Rudolf Świerczyński. In the years 1948-1950 the complex of buildings was significantly expanded according to the design of Bohdan Pniewski. The high-rise part can be considered as the first skyscraper built in Warsaw, and probably in the whole country after World War II. Andrzej Mieczysław Adamczyk (born 4 January 1959) is a Polish politician, and the current Minister of Infrastructure and Construction in the cabinet of Beata Szydło, serving since 2015. He was elected to the Sejm on 25 September 2005, getting 1,582 votes in 13 Kraków district, as a candidate on the Law and Justice list. Polish (Polish: ''język polski'', , ''polszczyzna'' or simply ''polski'', ) is a West Slavic language of the Lechitic group written in the Latin script. However, its form of government has also been identified as semi-presidential. The Ministry of Infrastructure and Development ( pl, Ministerstwo Infrastruktury i Rozwoju) was a ministerial department of the government of Poland. The ministry was created in November 2013 following the merger of the Ministry of Regional Development and the Ministry of Transport, Construction and Marine Economy during the cabinet of Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
