The Ministry of Water Supply () is a Government of Nepal, government ministry of Nepal that is responsible to provide effective, sustainable and quality water supply and sanitation to the people of Nepal. History The Ministry was established in 1972 by the Government of Nepal as the ''Department of Water Supply and Sewerage'' under the Ministry of Water Resources. Before it became a ministry, it was working under the Ministry of Housing and Physical Planning and the Ministry of Physical Planning and Works. In 2018, under the Oli cabinet, 2018, Second Oli cabinet, the portfolio of the ministry was changed to its current form, ''Ministry of Water Supply''. Emblem Of Nepal
The national emblem of Nepal () is the primary symbol used by the Government of Nepal and its agencies. Officially adopted on 28 May 2008, the emblem was later modified in 2020 to incorporate a revised political map of Nepal. Mahendra Ray Yadav is a Nepali politician, former minister and a member of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal. He is the current central committee chairman of Nepal Socialist Party. He was elected under the first-past-the-post system from Sarlahi-2 constituency, representing Rastriya Janata Party Nepal.
