Minister Without Portfolio (Serbia)
Minister without portfolio () is a minister in the Government of Serbia with no particular ministry but who has some specific responsibilities. The office was usually held simultaneously by several people at the same time (in the second cabinet of Mirko Marjanović there were ten Ministers without portfolio at one point). The current Ministers without portfolio, by date of assuming office, are namely: Novica Tončev (since 28 October 2020), Đorđe Milićević (since 26 October 2022), Usame Zukorlić (since 2 May 2024), Nenad Popović (since 2 May 2024) and Tatjana Macura (since 2 May 2024). Novica Tončev
Novica Tončev ( sr-cyr, Новица Тончев; born 9 December 1962) is a Serbian politician and businessman serving as Minister without portfolio (Serbia), minister without portfolio since 2020. A member of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), he served as mayor of Surdulica from 2008 to 2014. He is the brother of Ivica Tončev, a prominent member of SPS and an advisor to party leader Ivica Dačić. Early life and career Tončev was born in Niš, then part of the People's Republic of Serbia in the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia. He graduated from the University of Niš Faculty of Civil Engineering in 1989. He is the owner of the construction company ''Tončev Gradnja'' in Surdulica and the company ''Ton-Bau'' in Vienna, Austria, as well as being the co-owner Surdulica Radio-Television. Dragan Tomić
Dragan Tomić ( sr-cyrl, Драган Томић; 9 December 1935 – 21 June 2022) was a Serbian politician who served as the president of the National Assembly of Serbia from 1994 to 2001. He was a member of the Socialist Party of Serbia and was considered a loyal supporter of Slobodan Milošević. Tomić was director of RTV Politika, one of Serbia's main TV stations, and director of Jugopetrol AD, the state oil company. He was a member of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia. After Milošević reached the end of his two allowed terms as President of Serbia and got himself elected as President of Serbia and Montenegro, Tomić by default became acting President of Serbia, from 23 July to 29 December 1997. Mirko Marjanović
Mirko Marjanović ( sr-cyrl, Мирко Марјановић, ; 27 July 1937 – 21 February 2006) was a Serbian politician who served as the prime minister of Serbia from 1994 to 2000. Biography Marjanović was born on 27 July 1937 in Knin into a large working-class family with 7 children, where he finished gymnasium. He had four brothers and 2 sisters and his father Dušan worked in a local factory, while his mother Marija was a homemaker. During the season of 1955/56 he played as a winger for the football club HNK Dinara that is based in Knin. Marjanović later then moved to Zagreb where he attended musical academy which he ended up not finishing because he moved to live in Belgrade. Nikola Šainović ( sr-Cyrl, Никола Шаиновић, born 7 December 1948) is a Serbian politician. A close associate of Slobodan Milošević, he held several important state functions of Serbia and FR Yugoslavia during the 1990s. He has been a member of the Socialist Party of Serbia since the party's foundation. He served as the Deputy Prime Minister of FR Yugoslavia in charge of foreign affairs from 1994 to 2000, and represented Milošević as his emissary in Kosovo affairs from October 1998 during the Kosovo War. The Justice and Reconciliation Party (; ; abbr. SPP), formerly known as the Bosniak Democratic Union of Sandžak (; ; abbr. The Serbian People's Party (, abbr. SNP) is a right-wing populist and national-conservative political party in Serbia.
