Punjab Football Club (formerly known as RoundGlass Punjab FC) is an Indian professional football club founded in Mohali, Punjab. The club competes in the Indian Super League, the top flight of the Indian football league system. It was the first club to win promotion into the Indian Super League, doing so after winning the 2022–23 I-League title. History In April 2020, ''RoundGlass Sports Pvt. Ltd.'' completed the acquisition of the I-League club Minerva Punjab, rebranding it later the year as RoundGlass Punjab. After promotion to the ISL, they changed name to Punjab FC in July 2023. The 2025 Super Cup (also known as the 2025 Kalinga Super Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the fifth edition of the national knockout football tournament organized by the All India Football Federation (AIFF). It featured all clubs from the top-tier Indian Super League and top clubs from the second tier I-League, serving as the main domestic cup competition for men's football in India. Madih Talal (born 17 August 1997) is a French professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Indian Super League club East Bengal. The 2023–24 Indian Super League was the 10th season of the Indian Super League (ISL) and the 28th season of the top-tier in Indian football. It commenced on 21 September 2023 and concluded with the ISL Cup final on 4 May 2024. Mumbai City were the defending champions whilst Mohun Bagan were the defending cup winners.
