The Serbian Cyrillic alphabet (, ), also known as the Serbian script, (, ), is a standardized variation of the Cyrillic script used to write the Serbian language. It originated in medieval Serbia and was significantly reformed in the 19th century by the Serbian philologist and linguist Vuk Karadžić. The Serbian Cyrillic alphabet is one of the two official scripts used to write modern standard Serbian, the other being Gaj's Latin alphabet. Karadžić based his reform on the earlier 18th-century Slavonic-Serbian script. Following the principle of "write as you speak and read as it is written" (''piši kao što govoriš, čitaj kao što je napisano''), he removed obsolete letters, eliminated redundant representations of iotated vowels, and introduced the letter from the Latin script. Milojko Grujić ( sr-Cyrl, Милојко Грујић; born 15 May 1944) is a Serbian former politician. He served in the Serbian national assembly from 1994 to 1997 as a member of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS). Early life and private career Grujić was born in the village of Zavlaka in Krupanj during the closing stages of the Axis occupation of Serbia in World War II and was raised after the war in the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia. He attended the Higher School of Pedagogy in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and worked as a teacher. Milojko Lešjanin ( sr-cyr, Милојко Лешјанин; Lešje, Serbia, Lešje, 15 February 1830 – Belgrade, 15 February 1896) was a Serbs, Serbian military Officer (armed forces), officer and politician. He served as Ministry of Defence (Serbia)#Ministers of Army of Serbia prior to formation of Yugoslavia, Minister of Army and Chief of the Serbian General Staff, Chief of the Serbian General Staff for several times in the 1870s and 1880s. As corps and field army, army commander he took part in the wars with Ottoman Turks and Bulgarians in 1876–1885. Milojko "Mickey" Spajić (; born 24 September 1987) is a Montenegrin politician and financial engineer serving as Prime Minister of Montenegro since October 2023. He also served as the minister of finance and social welfare in the government of Montenegro and the cabinet of Zdravko Krivokapić from 2020 to 2022. Spajić is the president of the centrist Europe Now party.
