Milo (musician)
Rory Allen Philip Ferreira (born February 3, 1992), better known by his stage name R.A.P. Ferreira, formerly Milo (often stylized as milo) and Scallops Hotel, is an American rapper, poet, and producer from Kenosha, Wisconsin. Ferreira received moderate popularity and a cult following after the release of his first two projects, ''I Wish My Brother Rob Was Here'' and ''Milo Takes Baths''. He was noticed by rappers Busdriver and Open Mike Eagle, later going on his first tour with them and signing to their label, Hellfyre Club. Ferreira's debut studio album, ''A Toothpaste Suburb'', was released in September 2014. Due to challenges he had faced in the album's rollout, Ferreira subsequently founded his own record label, Ruby Yacht (stylized RBYT). James McCall (born June 3, 1983), better known by his stage names Nocando and All City Jimmy, is an American rapper from Los Angeles, California. He is the 2007 Scribble Jam champion and founder of Hellfyre Club. He is a member of hip hop groups such as Customer Service, Bomb Zombies, and Flash Bang Grenada. Career Nocando began gaining notoriety in Leimert Park's open-mic workshops in South Los Angeles. In the battle circuit, it is believed that he has won a hundred wins over many emcees. Nerdcore is a genre of hip hop music characterized by subject matter considered of interest to nerds and geeks. Self-described nerdcore musician MC Frontalot has the earliest known recorded use of the term (to describe this genre) in the 2000 song "Nerdcore Hiphop". Frontalot, like most nerdcore artists, self-publishes his work and has released much of it for free online. As a niche genre, nerdcore generally holds to the DIY ethic, and has a history of self-publishing and self-production. The album was produced by Del, Boogiemen, and Ice Cube. It peaked at number 24 on the ''Billboard'' Heatseekers Albums chart, as well as number 48 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It has been incorrectly assumed that the title of the album is a reference to George Clinton. The title actually refers to a quote from a ''Looney Tunes'' short film, which is in turn a reference to Liberace's catchphrase, which he would say on his television show whenever his brother George did not appear.
