Diana Claire Millay (June 7, 1934 – January 8, 2021) was an American actress. She primarily worked in television, guest starring in nearly 100 prime time shows, and played continuing roles on two daytime soap operas, ''Dark Shadows'' and ''The Secret Storm''. Career Millay was born in Rye, New York, and started her career as a model, first as a child for the Montgomery Ward catalogue, and later as a top Conover model for John Robert Powers. George Millay
George Millay (July 4, 1929 – February 6, 2006) was an American businessman and founder of SeaWorld and Wet 'n Wild water parks. Millay was born July 4, 1929, at Mercy Hospital and grew up in Ocean Beach, San Francisco, and Hawaii. After serving three years in the Navy, he enrolled at UCLA. He graduated in 1955 and worked as a stockbroker. In 1958, Millay and two partners who included David Tallichet, formed Speciality Restaurants Corporation, a destination-restaurant business. Their first location was a Polynesian-themed Reef in Long Beach. More than 100 restaurants across the U.S. followed, including the ''Proud Bird'' adjacent to Los Angeles International Airport, and ''94th Aero Squadron'' near Van Nuys Airport. After selling SRC to Tallichet, Millay envisioned creating an underwater zoo. is a role-playing video game developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo and published by Konami exclusively for the PlayStation 2 video game console and is the fourth installment of the ''Suikoden'' video game series. Maeve Millay is a fictional character in the television series, '' Westworld'', in which she is portrayed by English actress, Thandiwe Newton. She is one of the most prominent characters featured in the series. Maeve is a host who acts as the madam of Sweetwater, the largest town in Westworld. Through Dolores, she becomes aware that her life has been a lie, and recalls memories of raising a daughter before she was killed by a guest. History In 1925, Edna St. Vincent Millay bought '' Steepletop'', a house with a blueberry farm in Austerlitz, NY, named after a pink, conical wildflower that grows there. With her husband, Millay built a barn from a Sears Roebuck kit, and then a writing cabin, and a tennis court. After the poet's death in 1950, her sister Norma Millay Ellis moved to Steepletop. In 1973, she founded The Millay Colony, which was established as a nonprofit organization. Norma Millay Ellis donated the barn and surrounding acreage to The Millay Colony.
