Mill Creek Hundred
Mill Creek Hundred is an unincorporated subdivision of New Castle County, Delaware. Hundreds were once used as a basis for representation in the Delaware General Assembly, and while their names still appear on all real estate transactions, they presently have no meaningful use or purpose except as a geographical point of reference. Boundaries and formation Mill Creek Hundred is that portion of New Castle County that lies north and east of White Clay Creek and west of Red Clay Creek. Its western boundary follows a portion of the 12 mile arc drawn around the town of New Castle. It was formed from Christiana Hundred in 1710 and was named for Mill Creek that flows through its center. Stanton is an unincorporated community in New Castle County, Delaware, United States, near the confluence of the Red Clay and White Clay Creeks. The Philadelphia Subdivision is a railroad line owned and operated by CSX Transportation in the U.S. states of Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland. The line runs from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, southwest to Baltimore, Maryland, along a former Baltimore and Ohio Railroad (B&O) line. At its north end, CP Park (Park Junction), in Brewerytown, Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Subdivision becomes the Trenton Subdivision. The highway runs through suburban areas of northern New Castle County, passing through the eastern part of Newark. From DE 2, the road passes through suburban areas along Newport Gap Pike, intersecting DE 48 in Hockessin.
