Miljenko Matijević
Miljenko Matijevic (born November 30, 1964) is a Croatian-American singer, best known as the lead vocalist and songwriter of the hard rock band Steelheart. He has a big following in South Korea and has worked on several South Korean TV series. He has also released several soundtracks for South Korean TV series. In 2010, he did a tour with Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger of rock band the Doors, singing the parts of the late Jim Morrison. Early life Matijevic was born on November 30, 1964 in Zagreb. He lived there with his brother and grandparents until 1970 when his parents collected him from Croatia and moved with him and his brother to Scarsdale, New York. When Matijevic was 7, the family moved to Greenwich, Connecticut. The Doors
The Doors were an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965, comprising vocalist Jim Morrison, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger and drummer John Densmore. They were among the most influential and controversial rock acts of the 1960s, primarily due to Morrison's lyrics and voice, along with his erratic stage persona and legal issues. The group is widely regarded as an important figure of the counterculture of the 1960s, era's counterculture. Slaughter is an American hard rock band that formed in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1988. The group was founded by lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Mark Slaughter and bassist Dana Strum, who previously played together in the band Vinnie Vincent Invasion. The addition of guitarist Tim Kelly and drummer Blas Elias allowed Slaughter to quickly gain attention for their lively performances, catchy hooks, and melodic guitar solos. Following Tim Kelly's death in a car accident in 1998, Slaughter added Jeff Blando as their new guitarist, who has remained an essential part of the band's lineup ever since. Great White is an American hard rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1977. The band is named after both the shark with the same name, and guitarist Mark Kendall's former stage nickname. In August 2008, Great White estimated they had sold around eight million records worldwide. Chris Risola
Chris Risola (born June 30, 1958) is an American musician and songwriter. He is best known as the original lead guitarist for the glam metal band Steelheart. Career Risola first started playing guitar at age 13. In high school, he studied music theory and formed numerous bands. In 1981, Risola was playing lead guitar with his band consisting of Jimmy Ward on bass and Jack Wilkinson on drums, they then started auditioning singers, eventually hiring 15-year-old Mike Matijevic. The result was the band Rampage which was soon changed to Red Alert.
