Miles Smith Farm is a family-owned grass-fed beef farm located on Whitehouse Road (New Hampshire Route 106) in Loudon, New Hampshire, United States. Currently a working family farm with stonewalls built by the original owner, Miles Smith, its have a panoramic view of the Merrimack Valley to the southwest. Miles Smith Farm and neighboring grazing fields supports a herd of Scottish Highland and Angus that are chosen because they are a hardy breed and do well in rugged nature of central New Hampshire. The farm also serves as an educational resource to local schools and clubs by practicing rural land use that is environmentally, economically and culturally sustainable. Miles Smith (1554, Hereford – 1624, Gloucester) was a clergyman of the Church of England renowned as a most accomplished theologian, scholar and bibliophile.J. Tiller, 'Smith, Miles (d. 1624)', ''Oxford Dictionary of National Biography'' (2004/2008). After attaining the degree of DD, or doctor of divinity, he progressed to become Bishop of Gloucester (1612-1624). Although he may have been at times an indifferent administrator, his erudition contributed fundamentally to the translation and production of the King James Bible. Life Smith was born in Hereford, a fletcher's son, and attended Hereford School. He had a brother Richard and a sister Anne. He was of Corpus Christi College, Oxford in 1568, at about which time he transferred to Brasenose College, where he took BA in 1572/73 and MA in 1576. Miles Smith (born September 24, 1984 in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American professional sprinter. By finishing sixth at the 2005 USATF Outdoor Championships in the 400 m, he was selected to represent the United States at the 2005 World Championships in Athletics in the 4 × 400 m, where he won a gold medal by virtue of running in the preliminary rounds. Despite an unspectacular high school career, Smith was able to achieve success as a collegiate and professional athlete. His coach Joey Haines once said, "Miles thinks he's the best in the world.
