Milano Calibro 9 (Ugo Piazza)
''Caliber 9'' (; also released as ''The Contract'') is a 1972 Italian poliziottesco film written and directed by Fernando Di Leo and starring Gastone Moschin, Mario Adorf, Barbara Bouchet, Philippe Leroy, Frank Wolff (actor), Frank Wolff, Luigi Pistilli, and Lionel Stander. The film takes its title from the Milano calibro 9, short story collection of the same name by Giorgio Scerbanenco, and is partially based on three of its stories. The musical score was composed by Luis Enriquez Bacalov and performed by the progressive rock band Osanna. ''Caliber 9'' is the first part in Di Leo's ''Milieu Trilogy'' of ''poliziotteschi'' films. It was followed by ''The Italian Connection, La mala ordina'' (''The Italian Connection'') in 1972 in film, 1972 and ''Il Boss'' (''The Boss'') in 1973 in film, 1973. Luis Enriquez Bacalov
Luis Enríquez Bacalov (30 August 1933 – 15 November 2017) was an Argentine (naturalized Italian) film composer and musical director. He learned music from Enrique Barenboim, father of Daniel Barenboim - conductor of the Berlin and Chicago orchestras, and from Berta Sujovolsky. He ventured into music for the cinema, and composed now-classic scores for many Spaghetti Western films. In the early 1970s he also collaborated with Italian progressive rock bands. Bacalov was nominated twice for the Academy Award for Best Original Score, winning it in 1996 for ''Il Postino''. Bacalov also composed significant works for chorus and orchestra. ''Naked Violence'' () is a 1969 Italian giallo-drama film directed by Fernando Di Leo and based on the novel '' I ragazzi del massacro'' written by Giorgio Scerbanenco. Plot In the evening school of Andrea and Maria, in Milan, a group of eleven, mostly street criminals between thirteen and twenty, brutally murders the teacher Matilde Crescenzaghi for no apparent reason. The police begin to investigate the murder, but find no clear evidence or sufficient information to shed light on the mysterious affair. Pressed by the investigating judge who wants to close the case, but also seized by remorse and by his own conscience, the police-chief Luigi Càrrua entrusts the case to the Commissioner Lamberti, his friend and collaborator. Go-go dancers are dancers who are employed to entertain crowds at nightclubs or other venues where music is played. Go-go dancing originated in the early 1960s at the French bar Whisky a Gogo, located in the town of Juan-les-Pins.
