Milagros, officially the Municipality of Milagros, is a municipality of the Philippines, municipality in the Philippine Province, province of Masbate, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 57,538 people. Etymology Milagros got its name from Spanish word ''Milagro'' meaning miracle. Fernando Milagros (Talcahuano, Chile, February 1980) is a Chilean pop rock singer-songwriter and a part of the independent music scene in Santiago. He was born Fernando Briones and got his stage name from his three years as the singer and bass player in the band Maria Milagros. He has divided his time between music and a successful career in theater design. In 2006, Milagros made his first solo album, ''Vacaciones en el Patio de mi Casa'' (Vacations In My Backyard), which was released in 2007. He followed this up with performances throughout 2008 in bars around Santiago, and opened for the Anglo-French singer Jane Birkin, also in 2008 Milagros released his second album, ''Por Su Atención Gracias'' (For Your Attention Thank You), in 2009. Milagros was a Peruvian telenovela produced and broadcast by América Televisión in 2001. Plot The novel tells us the story of two rival families: Echevarrías and De La Torres. One of the main heads of this last family, the evil Lucrecia, hires assassins led by Leoncio Peña "Jaguar" to annihilate all the Echevarría's in a social gathering they were having: Raquel Echevarría's wedding with John Wilson. Acueducto De Los Milagros
The Aqueduct of the Miracles is a Roman aqueduct in the Roman '' colonia'' of Emerita Augusta –present-day Mérida, Spain–, capital of the Roman province of Lusitania. It was built during the first century AD to supply water from the Proserpina Dam into the city. After the fall of the Roman Empire, the aqueduct fell into decay and today it is in ruins with only a relatively small section of the aqueduct bridge standing. It is part of the Archaeological Ensemble of Mérida, which is one of the largest and most extensive archaeological sites in Spain and that was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1993.
