Antonije Pušić (; born 14 June 1963), known professionally as Rambo Amadeus (), is an author and performer. A self-titled "musician, poet, and media manipulator", he is a noted artist across the countries of former Yugoslavia. His songs combine satirical lyrics on human nature and the silliness of local politics with a mixture of musical styles including jazz, rock, hip-hop and lately drum and bass, and self-conscious ironic wit; for example, his most popular alias is "Rambo Amadeus Svjetski Kilo Car" ("Rambo Amadeus the World Kilo Tzar"), formerly "Rambo Amadeus Svjetski Mega Car" ("Rambo Amadeus the World Mega Tzar") (RASMC) (changed in 2012 because of his belief in the importance of modesty in an environmentally conscious society). Goran Vejvoda
Goran Vejvoda ( sr-Cyrl, Горан Вејвода; born in 1956 ) is an English-born Serbian composer, sound and visual artist, performance artist, photographer, writer and actor based in France. Early life Son of the Yugoslav diplomat who had managed to parlay his prior communist revolutionary activity (including being a foreign volunteer fighter in the Spanish Civil War as well as prominent Partisan guerrilla fighter during World War II) into a post-war diplomatic career, Goran was born in London during the time his father was stationed there as FPR Yugoslavia's ambassador to the United Kingdom. The family relocated to Rome in 1960 when his father was reassigned to be the ambassador in Italy. In 1967, the family was on the move again, this time to Paris where his father was named as the Yugoslav ambassador to France. ''Guns of War'' ( sh-Latn-Cyrl, separator=/, Užička republika, Ужичка република, Republic of Užice) is a 1974 Yugoslav film directed by Žika Mitrović. It is one of the most notable examples of partisan film, a Yugoslav subgenre of World War II films which was popular between the 1960s and 1980s. The prevailing themes of anti-fascist struggle set in wartime Yugoslavia are also present here, as the film tells the story of the rise and fall of the Republic of Užice, a short-lived territory liberated by Yugoslav partisans which existed for several months in 1941. The film shows several love stories unfolding on the backdrop of historical events and includes appearances by Miodrag Lazarević as Chetnik leader Draža Mihailović and Marko Todorović as Josip Broz Tito. In sound and music, sampling is the reuse of a portion (or sample) of a sound recording in another recording. Samples may comprise elements such as rhythm, melody, speech, or sound effects. A sample might comprise only a fragment of sound, or a longer portion of music, such as a drum beat or melody. Samples are often layered, equalized, sped up or slowed down, repitched, looped, or otherwise manipulated. They are usually integrated using electronic music instruments ( samplers) or software such as digital audio workstations. A process similar to sampling originated in the 1940s with '' musique concrète'', experimental music created by splicing and looping tape. The mid-20th century saw the introduction of keyboard instruments that played sounds recorded on tape, such as the Mellotron.
