Mikheil Ashvetia
Mikheil Ashvetia ( ka, მიხეილ აშვეთია; born 10 November 1977) is a Georgian former footballer who played as a striker. Most recently he was the head coach of 2nd division club Samtredia. Career Player Ashvetia played mostly in Georgia and Russia, except for short spells at FC København in 2001–2002 and FC Carl Zeiss Jena in 2006-2007. In Russia, he played for Alania Vladikavkaz, Lokomotiv Moscow, Rubin Kazan and FC Rostov. While playing for Lokomotiv in 2003, he scored a notable Champions League goal against Inter Milan, making the score 2–0 to Lokomotiv, which they would later win 3-0. He played for the Georgian national team between 1995 and 2005, and was capped 24 times, scoring five goals. The Georgian Erovnuli Liga 2 ( ka, ეროვნული ლიგა 2; ), organized since 1990 by the GFF, serves as the second division of professional football in Georgia. The league was introduced for the 2017 season under the current name as a part of reorganization process of the entire league system. It was formerly known as Pirveli liga (the First league). Structure There are ten clubs competing in Erovnuli Liga 2. During the season each club plays each other four times, twice at home and twice away. At the end of each season the winner gains automatic promotion and the bottom club is relegated. The runner-up and 3rd placed team participate in two-legged home and away play-off matches against the 9th and 8th placed clubs of Erovnuli Liga, respectively. Kakhaber Chkhetiani ( ka, კახა ჩხეტიანი; born 24 February 1978) is a Georgian former professional football player and manager. Currently he is the head coach of Erovnuli Liga club Kolkheti 1913. His brother Zviad Chkhetiani is also a professional footballer. Career Каkha Chkhetiani started his managerial career at Torpedo Kutaisi where he had taken first steps as a professional player. Initially, he worked as assistant head coach under Gia Geguchadze. In 2013, Chkhetiani took charge of Merani Martvili. In 2016, he returned to Torpedo Kutaisi.
