Mykhailivka Culture
The Mykhailivka Culture, Mikhaylovka culture, Lower Mykhaylivka culture (, 3600—3000 BCE) is a Copper Age archaeological culture which flourished on the Pontic steppe from 3600 BC to 3000 BC. Lower Mikhaylivka culture is named after an early Yamna culture, Yamna site of the late chalcolithic, copper age of the lower Dnieper River, noted for its fortifications, after lower archaeological layer of the site near the village of Mykhailivka,_Beryslav_Raion,_Kherson_Oblast, Mykhaylivka in Kherson Oblast of Ukraine. Mikhaylivka I (3600-3400 BCE) had connections to the west, and is related to the Kemi Oba culture (3700-2200 BCE) at the Bug-Dniepr area and the Crimea, and seems to have had connections to the Maykop culture (3700-3000 BCE). Mikhaylivka II (3400-3000 BCE) had connections to the east, as reflected by its Repin culture, Repin-style pottery. Chambarak
Chambarak () is a town and capital of the Chambarak Municipality of the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia. The current Chambarak town was formed by amalgamation of three settlements: Krasnoselsk, Lower Chambarak (Nerkin Chambarak) and Upper Chambarak (Verin Chambarak). Etymology The town was known as ''Mikhaylovka'' until 1920, ''Karmir Gyugh'' from 1920 to 1971 and ''Krasnoselsk'' from 1972 to 1991, after which the town has been known as ''Chambarak''. Karmir Gyugh and Krasnoselsk both mean "Red Village" in Armenian and Russian language, Russian respectively.
