FC Kuban (russian: link=no, Футбольный клуб "Кубань" Краснодар) was a Russian football club based in Krasnodar. The team began playing in the Russian Premier League in 2011, after it was promoted for winning the Russian First Division. FC Kuban was one of the oldest football clubs in Russia. Founded as Dynamo of the Krasnodar NKVD, FC Kuban changed its affiliations because of changing politics in the USSR. Club members and fans were called "Kubantsy" () (because of its location) or "yellow-greens" (the club colours). The team was also known as the "Cossacks" by fans. FC Amur Blagoveshchensk (russian: ФК «Амур-2010» Благовещенск ) was a Russian football club from Blagoveshchensk, founded in 1960 and dissolved in 2010. The club played on the second-highest level (Soviet First League and Russian First Division) in 1960-1962, 1992 and 2005. Between 1997-2001 the team was called FC Amur-Energiya. FC Nizhny Novgorod (russian: ФК "Нижний Новгород") was an association football club based in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. It played three seasons in the Russian First Division. In December 2007 a new team formed from an amateur team playing in the regional championship. The team entered the Amateur Football League and got promoted to the Russian Second Division. FC Chernomorets Novorossiysk (russian: ФК "Черноморец" Новороссийск) is the oldest Russian association football club based in Novorossiysk. It plays in the third-tier FNL 2. History The club was founded as a part of the football section in the Olympia sports club (Novorossiysk) in the summer of 1907, and on September 30, 1907, the first international match between the Olympia club and the sailors of a merchant ship from England took place, the match ended in a draw 2:2. FC Dynamo Moscow (''FC Dynamo Moskva'', russian: Дина́мо Москва́ ) is a Russian football club based in Moscow. Dynamo returned to the Russian Premier League for the 2017–18 season after one season in the second-tier Russian Football National League.
