Mikel Llorente
Mikel Llorente Etxarri (born 15 December 1981) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a midfielder. Playing career Born in Hondarribia, Gipuzkoa, Basque Country, Llorente was a Real Sociedad youth graduate. He featured with the reserves in the 2001–02 season in Segunda División B, but left the club in December and subsequently represented Tercera División side . Llorente subsequently returned to his hometown, playing for in the regional leagues. Managerial career While still a player, Llorente managed the youth sides of Hondarribia, before being appointed in charge of the first team on 6 April 2012. On 22 June 2017, he moved abroad and joined Guille Abascal's staff at Swiss side FC Chiasso, as his assistant. On 20 June 2018, Llorente returned to Real Sociedad, after becoming an assistant of the ''Juvenil A'' squad. Hondarribia
Hondarribia (; ; ) is a Spanish town situated on the west shore of the Bidasoa river's estuary, in Gipuzkoa, in the Basque Country (autonomous community), Basque Autonomous Community. The border town is situated on a little promontory facing Hendaye (France) over the Txingudi bay. A service boat makes the trip between the two. The town has an ancient old quarter with walls and a castle. In addition, Hondarribia features a beach across the Bidasoa from the touristy housing estate ''Sokoburu'' in Hendaye, alongside a mountain called Jaizkibel providing a hilly backdrop to the town. A road leads northeast from the beach area to Cape Higuer, located in this municipality. The town harbours the San Sebastian Airport, which serves domestic flights. Joseba Llorente Etxarri (born 24 November 1979) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a centre-forward. He amassed La Liga totals of 179 games and 50 goals over ten seasons, representing in the competition Real Sociedad, Valladolid, Villarreal and Osasuna. He added 142 matches and 55 goals in the Segunda División, mainly in service of Eibar. Club career Born in Hondarribia, Basque Country, Llorente came through the ranks of Real Sociedad, making his debut for the first team on 3 October 1999 against Real Zaragoza (2–0 away loss). He would however, only total 23 appearances in four seasons, and left in 2003 for another club in his native region, SD Eibar of Segunda División, where he already had served a loan stint early into the 2000–01 campaign. For 2005–06, Llorente signed for Real Valladolid also in that tier, and scored 12 league goals in his debut campaign.
