Michael B. Wolfe (born 3 April 1945) is an American poet, author, and the President and Co-Executive Producer of Unity Productions Foundation. Michael Wolfe (born October 12, 1976) is an American actor, writer, producer and director, known for his work on the independent film '' Maybe Tomorrow''. Early life Michael Wolfe was born and raised in Patchogue, New York, and studied TV and film production at the Marist College. He worked for more than 10 years as a bartender in Rego Park before entering the film business. Career For his portrayal of ''Russ Mahler'' in ''Maybe Tomorrow'', Wolfe received the award for ''Best Actor in a Feature Film'' in the 2012 Golden Door Film Festival, and was nominated for ''Best Supporting Actor'' in the 2012 Hoboken International Film Festival. Mike Wolfe is a former politician. He was the first directly elected mayor of Stoke-on-Trent, sitting in office from 2002 to 2005. He was formerly employed as the manager of the Citizens Advice Bureau in the city. Career Time as Mayor Wolfe left the Labour Party to stand as an independent in the mayoral race of October 2002 and narrowly beat George Stevenson, a local Labour member of Parliament. Both Wolfe and his successor Mark Meredith Mark Joseph Meredith (born 21 August 1965 in Shelton, Stoke-on-Trent) was the second and last directly elected mayor of Stoke-on-Trent in England.
