Mike Ruocco is a Baltimore, Maryland-based pop-rock artist. History Baltimore, MD bred Michael Ruocco is a singer, songwriter. Inspired by the likes of Def Leppard to get up on stage, he started his first band, PLUNGE, at age 12 with school friends. The band took their budding career seriously and grew into one of the busiest cover/original bands in the mid-atlantic music scene. PLUNGE first signed to European and Japanese labels before releasing their album “Hometown Hero” independently in the USA. Shortly after “Hometown Hero” came out, Mike was invited to join another hometown act, SR-71 – recently signed to RCA Records. He joined the band as a bassist/background vocalist while maintaining work with PLUNGE in his time off. Matthew William Sorum (born November 19, 1960) is an American drummer. He is best known as both a former member of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he recorded three studio albums, and as a member of the supergroup Velvet Revolver. Sorum is currently a member of the touring project, Kings of Chaos, and is a former member of both The Cult and Y Kant Tori Read. Sorum was also a member of Guns N' Roses side-projects, Slash's Snakepit and Neurotic Outsiders, and has released two solo albums, ''Hollywood Zen'' (2004) and ''Stratosphere'' (2014). ''Here We Go Again'' is the third and final studio album by rock band SR-71, recorded during 2003 and released on May 21, 2004. It wasn't released outside Japan, although it was available on the band's website through a Japanese import. On November 26, 2010, the album was finally released in the United States, more than six years after its initial release in Japan in May 2004, after being recorded during 2003. ''Tomorrow'' is the second studio album by rock band SR-71 featuring the Top 30 hit "Tomorrow". It was the first to feature John Allen on drums, since Dan Garvin left after '' Now You See Inside''. "My World" would later be re-recorded by Bo Bice for his debut album '' The Real Thing'', in which frontman Mitch Allan played guitar and bass. The song was re-recorded and re-made once again in 2007 and released as a single in January 2008 by frontman Mitch Allan as promotion for his first solo album ''Clawing My Way to the Middle''. His solo version of the song was softer and more relaxed and was renamed "Makes Me High". This is the last album featuring guitarist Mark Beauchemin, who left the band for personal reasons; and bassist Jeff Reid, for medical reasons. Cinder Road is an American rock band from Lutherville, Maryland, United States. Formerly known as Plunge, the band changed their name to Cinder Road. The band took their name from the street where they grew up. Cinder Road features frontman/vocalist/guitarist Mike Ruocco, guitarist Chris Shucosky, guitarist Pat Dement, drummer Mac Calvaresi, and bassist, Eric Jung. Calvaresi later became a teacher at Ridgely Middle School. The band toured up and down the eastern seaboard from Canada to Key West and oversea trips to Southeast Asia playing shows for the Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) network in Japan, Korea, Guam, as well as other remote areas such as Greenland and the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base. The Exies were an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1997. Their name, "The Exies", is short for "The Existentialists". Their two Virgin Records releases, ''Inertia'' (2003) and '' Head for the Door'' (2004), have sold over 400,000 copies combined. History The Exies formed in 1997 when singer and guitarist Scott Stevens drafted bassist Freddy Herrera and drummer Thom Sullivan to form a new group.
