Mike Rosati
Michael Anthony Rosati (born January 7, 1968) is a Canadian-born Italian former professional ice hockey player. He played one game in the National Hockey League with the Washington Capitals during the 1998–99 season. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1989 to 2004, was mainly spent in Europe. Internationally Rosati played for the Italian national team at the 1994 and 1998 Winter Olympics, and nine World Championships. Early years As a youth, Rosati played in the 1981 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Wexford, Toronto. Rosati started his career by playing in the Ontario Hockey League and was soon drafted by the New York Rangers in 1988 NHL Entry Draft (#131 pick). Goaltender
In ice hockey, the goaltender (commonly referred to as goalie or netminder) is the player responsible for preventing the hockey puck from entering their own team's net, thus preventing the opposing team from scoring. Ontario Hockey League
The Ontario Hockey League (OHL; ) is one of the three major junior ice hockey leagues which constitute the Canadian Hockey League, alongside the Western Hockey League and the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League. Stéphane Richer (ice Hockey Defenceman)
Stéphane Jean-Gilles Richer (born April 28, 1966) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who is currently serving as sport director at Eisbären Berlin of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. Playing career Richer spent most of his professional career playing in the minors, but did play parts of three seasons in the NHL with the Tampa Bay Lightning ( 1992–93), Boston Bruins (1992–93), Florida Panthers ( 1993–94 and 1994–95). He played in 27 NHL games; his NHL totals include one goal, five assists, six points and 20 penalty minutes. Richer left North America in 1995 to play for Adler Mannheim in Germany. He won the German championship with the Adler squad in 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2001 and remained with the team until the 2001–02 season. International Hockey League (1945–2001)
The International Hockey League (IHL) was a minor professional ice hockey league in the United States and Canada that operated from 1945 to 2001. The IHL served as the National Hockey League (NHL)'s alternate farm system to the American Hockey League (AHL). After 56 years of operation, financial instability led to the league's demise. The Manitoba Moose are a professional ice hockey team based in Winnipeg. They are the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League (NHL). The Ottawa Senators (), officially the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club and colloquially known as the Sens, are a professional ice hockey team based in Ottawa. Portland Pirates
The Portland Pirates were a minor league professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL). Their home arena was the Cross Insurance Arena in downtown Portland, Maine. The franchise was previously known as the Baltimore Skipjacks from 1982 to 1993. Craig Richard Billington (born September 11, 1966) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played with several teams in a 15-year National Hockey League career, always known as "Biller," and serves as an assistant general manager for the Colorado Avalanche, and the General Manager of the American Hockey League Colorado Eagles. Olaf Kölzig
Olaf Kölzig (born 6 April 1970) is a South African-born Germans, German professional ice hockey goaltender and current goaltender coach and player development coach for the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL). With the exception of eight games with the Tampa Bay Lightning, he played his entire 14-year NHL career with the Capitals. Nicknamed "Olie the Goalie", Kölzig was born in South Africa to German parents and grew up in several cities across Canada. His family moved to Union Bay, British Columbia, when he was a teenager.
