Michael G. Reed (January 6, 1975 – January 31, 2014) was an American football running back who played one season with the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He played college football at the University of Washington and attended Clover Park High School in Lakewood, Washington. A running back (RB) is a member of the offensive backfield in gridiron football. The primary roles of a running back are to receive handoffs from the quarterback to rush the ball, to line up as a receiver to catch the ball, and block.
