Mike Pomichter
Mike Pomichter is an American ice hockey Coach (sport), coach and former Winger (ice hockey), left wing who was an List of Division I AHCA All-American Teams, All-American for Boston University Terriers men's ice hockey, Boston University. Career Pomichter was a highly rated prospect and was selected in the second round of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft, 1991 NHL Draft. He began attending Boston University the following fall and played well for the hockey team. Pomichter finished second in scoring for the Terriers as a freshman and helped the team earn a berth in the 1992 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament, NCAA Tournament. Williamsport Outlaws
The Williamsport Outlaws were a professional ice hockey team in the Federal Hockey League. The team played the 2011-2012 season in Wayne, New Jersey as the New Jersey Outlaws. Following winning the FHL championship in 2012, the Outlaws announced they would move to Williamsport, Pennsylvania and play all of their games outdoors at Bowman Field while awaiting the completion of an arena in Williamsport. The Outlaws were the FHL affiliate of the ECHL's Elmira Jackals. The Outlaws ceased operations on January 21, 2013 after the team owner refused to play the remaining road games. The Maine Black Bears men's ice hockey is an (National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA) Division I (NCAA), Division I college ice hockey program that represents the University of Maine. Hockey East
The Hockey East Association, also known as Hockey East, is a college ice hockey conference which operates entirely in New England. It participates in the NCAA's Division I as a hockey-only conference. Hockey East came into existence in 1984 for men's hockey when most of its current members split from what is today known as ECAC Hockey, after disagreements with the Ivy League members. The women's league began play in 2002. 1993 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships
The 1993 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships (''1993 WJHC'') was the 17th edition of the Ice Hockey World Junior Championship and was held in Gävle, Sweden. Canada won the gold medal, its sixth championship, while Sweden won silver, and the combined team of the Czech Republic and Slovakia won bronze. Peter Forsberg of Sweden scored a tournament record 31 points, while teammate Markus Näslund's 13 goals also set a tournament record. Final standings The 1993 tournament was a round-robin format, with the top three teams winning gold, silver and bronze medals respectively. As the tournament was ongoing, the nation of Czechoslovakia was dissolved into two separate nations, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, on New Years Day, 1993. The United States men's national junior ice hockey team represents the United States at the IIHF World Junior Championship. The team has won seven times World Junior Championships (2004, 2010, 2013, 2017, 2021, 2024, 2025). List Of Division I AHCA All-American Teams
The Division I AHCA All-American Teams are an annual honor bestowed by the American Hockey Coaches Association to the college hockey players judged to be the top performers in their division. Each team is composed of at least one goaltender, two defensemen and three forwards on ice hockey programs. At least one all-star team has been named by the since the start of NCAA tournament play in 1947–48 after the conclusion of either the regular season or the conference tournaments. Initially the All-American teams weren't named by ACHA. in the first ten years of the teams the players were selected by some combination of media members and team officials.
