Mike Norton
Mike Norton is an American comic book artist and writer, known for his work on '' Battlepug''. Early life Mike Norton first discovered comics as a child when his father gave him a copy of ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' #163, before he was old enough to read. Norton names that comic and ''Star Wars'' as his greatest childhood influences. ''Countdown'', also known as ''Countdown to Final Crisis'' for its last 24 issues based on the cover, was a comic book Limited series (comics), limited series published by DC Comics. It debuted on May 9, 2007, directly following the conclusion of the last issue of ''52 (comics), 52''. The series is written primarily by Paul Dini, along with a rotating team of writers and artists. ''Countdown'' consists of 51 issues, numbered in reverse and published weekly for one year. The series covers much of the fictional DC Universe, told in parallel narratives through the interconnecting stories of a cast of characters. It frequently crosses over with List of DC Comics publications (K–O), other DC titles. Black Canary is the name of two superheroines appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. As one of the earliest female superheroes in the DC Comics universe, the character has made numerous appearances in prominent team-up titles, including the ''Justice Society of America'' and Justice League, ''Justice League of America''. The Black Canary persona has been adopted by two individuals, portrayed as legacy heroes with a mother-daughter relationship between the two.
