Michael J. Nemes (born February 20, 1954) is an American politician who serves in the Kentucky State Senate representing the 38th Senate district since January 28, 2020. Kentucky's 38th Senatorial district is one of 38 districts in the Kentucky Senate. It comprises Bullitt County, Kentucky, Bullitt County, as well as part of Jefferson County, Kentucky, Jefferson. Daniel DeVerl "Malano" Seum (born January 28, 1940) is an American politician. He was a member of the Kentucky Senate, representing the 38th district from 1995 to 2019. Seum began his career as a member of the Democratic party. He was first elected to the state house in 1981, defeating incumbent Republican Dexter Wright.
