''Life Matters'' is a magazine-style radio program that has been broadcast on Radio National by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation since 1992. The first presenter was Geraldine Doogue, and the program is presented Monday to Thursday by Tegan Taylor (replacing Hilary Harper) and by Beverley Wang on Fridays. Michael McKenzie (artist)
Michael McKenzie (born 1950 in New York, United States) is an American artist and writer. His mother a fourth generation Irish/German and his father of recent Scottish immigrants. He began writing, drawing, painting and publishing at a young age, his first publication, at age 5, was Two Cents Plain, a four-page magazine (selling for 2 cents) he made using a mimeograph machine at his father's office. A fluke meeting at the 1964 World's Fair with his grandmother introduced him to Philip Johnson, Andy Warhol and Robert Indiana, all three of whom he would later work with. McKenzie studied creative writing at Middlebury College, Columbia, The New School and Brooklyn College under five Pulitzer Prize Winners Mark Strand, Charles Simic, Anthony Hecht, John Gardner, John Ashbery taking multiple degrees. Michael Mackenzie (filmmaker)
Michael Mackenzie works in film, theatre and technology policy. He has directed two feature films, both theatrically released in Canada. His plays have been staged in Europe and North America and variously published in English, French, German and Hungarian. He has a Ph.D from L’Institut d'Histoire et Sociopolitique de Science, Université de Montréal. Past academic appointments include Visiting Fellow at Princeton University Professor of Humanities at Vanier College, and consultant at the United Nations. Career Mike McKenzie (born Michael McTernan) is a Scottish singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Edinburgh, Scotland. In 2019, McKenzie won the inaugural BBC Radio Scotland Singer/Songwriter of the Year Award. The winner was determined by judges Fran Healy (Travis), Horse McDonald, Geoff Ellis (DF Concerts), Karine Polwart and Dee Bahl. Outside of his solo work, McKenzie is the lead vocalist for collaborative project PJ Moore & Co., alongside the Blue Nile's PJ Moore and composer Malcolm Lindsay. The Red Chord is an American extreme metal band from Revere, Massachusetts, formed in 1999. The group comprises vocalist Guy Kozowyk, guitarist/vocalist Mike "Gunface" McKenzie, bassist Greg Weeks and drummer Jon Rice. The band gained a fanbase with its 2002 debut album ''Fused Together in Revolving Doors''. Michael Terrance McKenzie (born April 26, 1976) is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Memphis Tigers. He was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the third round of the 1999 NFL draft. He also played for the New Orleans Saints. Early life McKenzie graduated from Miami Norland High School in Miami Gardens, Florida, and was an all-Miami-Dade County, Dade county selection at free safety as a senior.
