Mike Lee (bull Rider)
Michael Riley Lee (born June 11, 1983) is an American professional rodeo cowboy who specializes in bull riding. He was the 2004 Professional Bull Riders (PBR) PBR World Champion. He competed consistently in said organization from 2001 through 2017. However, he announced his retirement from the PBR in November 2017. He then competed in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), Championship Bull Riding (CBR), and Tuff Hedeman Bull Riding Tour (THBR) circuits, but later mainly rode in regional semi-professional bull riding organizations for the next five years. In the summer of 2022, he announced on his Instagram page his return to the PBR. He would ride sporadically in the PBR in 2022 and 2023 before returning to the semi-pro circuit in 2024. In 2023, Lee was ranked No. 28 on the list of the top 30 bull riders in PBR history. Built Ford Tough Series
The Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) was the Premier Series tour name of the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) competitions from 2003 through 2017. Inaugural season (2003) The BFTS kicked off its tour on November 16, 2002, with the Mohegan Sun Invitational in Uncasville, Connecticut. The majority of the series was televised on the Outdoor Life Network (OLN). Six of the series events were broadcast on NBC. Telemundo broadcast two events. The first run of the series was held in 29 cities. The BFTS featured the world's top 45 riders at each event throughout the season. Bucking Bull
A bucking bull is a bull used in rodeo bull riding competition. They are usually a Brahman crossed with another breed, weighing 1,500 pounds or more, selected for their tendency to "leap, plunge and spin" when a human is on its back. In the mid-20th century, breeders began selecting bulls for bad temperament; ones that would buck when ridden. Many of the best bucking bulls trace their lineage to bulls owned by Charlie Plummer of Oklahoma. These are known as Plummer bulls. Bucking bulls are viewed as athletes. They usually are started in their bucking career at the age of two or three, reach their athletic prime at age five or six, and if they remain healthy, can continue bucking at least until the age of 10, sometimes longer. Lane Frost
Lane Clyde Frost (October 12, 1963 – July 30, 1989) was an American professional rodeo cowboy who specialized in bull riding, and competed in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). He was the 1987 PRCA World Champion bull rider. He was also the only rider ever to score a qualified ride on Red Rock, the 1987 PRCA Bucking Bull of the Year. Lane is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Atoka County, Oklahoma, United States. A post office was established at Lane, Indian Territory on October 6, 1902. Its name reflects the fact the new post office was located in a building which was at the end of lane bounded by rail fencing. At the time of its founding, Lane was located in Atoka County, Choctaw Nation, a territorial-era government unit. The population was 300 as of the 2020 Census. Lane is located along the State Highway 3, southeast of Atoka. McGee Creek Reservoir, which impounds the waters of McGee Creek, lies northeast of Lane.
