Mike Lansing
Michael Thomas Lansing (born April 3, 1968) is an American former Major League Baseball second baseman who played for the Montreal Expos, Colorado Rockies, and the Boston Red Sox between 1993 and 2001. During his playing days, he had the nickname "the Laser." Amateur career Lansing attended Wichita State University, and in 1988 he played collegiate summer baseball with the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Utilizing a never-before-used rule, Lansing was drafted late in the 6th round of the 1990 MLB Draft by the Miami Miracle, an independent minor league team. Lansing played two seasons with the Miracle before making the major league with the Expos in 1993. A SWAT (''Special Weapons and Tactics'') team is a generic term for a police tactical unit within the United States, though the term has also been used by other nations. Mike Lansing Field is a stadium in Casper, Wyoming. It is primarily used for baseball. It was the home field of the Casper Ghosts minor league baseball team from 2002 to 2011, of the Casper Cutthroats summer-collegiate baseball team from 2012 to 2014, and of the Casper Horseheads of Independence League Baseball from 2018 to 2022. It is home to the Casper Oilers American Legion Baseball team, and the Casper Spuds of Independence League Baseball. It was built in 2002 and holds 2,500 people. Bobby Lowe
Robert Lincoln Lowe (July 10, 1865 – December 8, 1951), nicknamed "Link", was an American Major League Baseball (MLB) player, coach, and scout. He played for the Boston Beaneaters (1890–1901), Chicago Cubs (1902–1903), Pittsburgh Pirates (1904), and Detroit Tigers (1904–1907). Lowe was the first player in Major League history to hit four home runs in a game, a feat which he accomplished in May 1894. He also tied or set Major League records with 17 total bases in a single game and six hits in a single game.
