Mike Fox (foaled 2004 in Caledon, Ontario, Caledon, Ontario) is a Canadian Thoroughbred horse racing, racehorse best known as the upset winner of Canada's most prestigious race, the Queen's Plate, in 2007. In winning the Queen's Plate aboard Mike Fox, jockey Emma-Jayne Wilson became the first female rider to ever win the race in its 148 runnings. Giant's Causeway (horse)
Giant's Causeway (14 February 1997 – 16 April 2018) was an American-bred, Irish-trained Thoroughbred racehorse who won five Group One races in Great Britain and Ireland as a three-year-old in 2000: the St James's Palace Stakes, Eclipse Stakes, Sussex Stakes, International Stakes, Juddmonte International Stakes and Irish Champion Stakes. He was named the 2000 Cartier Horse of the Year. The horse was sent to stud and proved to be an outstanding sire. Nicknamed the "Iron Horse" on account of his toughness and constitution, Giant's Causeway was hailed by his trainer Aidan O'Brien as a "true champion". Rahy (February 18, 1985 – September 22, 2011) was a Thoroughbred horse racing, racehorse who competed in United Kingdom, England and the United States. Relko (1960–1982) was a French Thoroughbred horse racing, racehorse and sire (horse), sire. In a racing career which lasted from 1962 until 1964 he ran thirteen times and won nine races. His most notable win came in the 1963 Epsom Derby, Derby. Background Relko was a "strong, compact, perfectly balanced" bay horse standing just over 16.1 Hand (unit), hands high with a narrow white Horse markings, stripe and three white sock (horse marking), socks. He was bred by his owner François Dupré at his horse breeding, stud farm in Pont-d'Ouilly in the Basse-Normandie region. Mill Reef
Mill Reef (23 February 1968 – 2 February 1986) was an American-bred, British-trained Thoroughbred racehorse and sire. In a three-year career from 1970 to 1972, he won twelve of fourteen races and finished second in the other two. The horse was an outstanding two-year-old in 1970 but proved even better at three, winning the Epsom Derby, the Eclipse Stakes, the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes and the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. He won both his starts as a four-year-old before his racing career was ended by a severely broken leg that threatened his life. At just under 16 hands as a three-year-old, Mill Reef is considered one of the greatest thoroughbreds to run in Europe since WWII. Roberto (16 March 1969 – 2 August 1988) was an American-bred, Irish-trained Thoroughbred horse racing, racehorse. In a career that lasted from 1971 until July 1973, he ran fourteen times and won seven races. He was the best Irish two-year-old of 1971, when his victories included the National Stakes. As a three-year-old, he won the Epsom Derby, Derby before recording a famous victory over Brigadier Gerard (horse), Brigadier Gerard in the inaugural running of the International Stakes, Benson and Hedges Gold Cup.
