Mike Donald
Michael William Donald (born July 11, 1955) is an American professional golfer. Donald was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He won 1974 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) title while playing at Broward Community College and also attended Georgia Southern University. Donald's sole win on the PGA Tour was the 1989 Anheuser-Busch Golf Classic. He lost on the first playoff hole in sudden-death to Hale Irwin at the 1990 U.S. Open in Medinah, Illinois, after they had both finished the 18-hole playoff in 74. Donald missed a 15-foot par putt on the 18th hole of the Monday playoff which would have given him victory. In the 1990 Masters Tournament Donald tied the record for the lowest opening round score in the history of the tournament, shooting an 8-under-par 64 to equal the lowest first round at Augusta by Lloyd Mangrum in 1940. The ''Spartanburg Herald-Journal'' is a daily newspaper, the primary newspaper for Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States. The Chrysler Team Championship was an unofficial event on the PGA Tour from 1983 to 1990. It used a two-man better-ball format. It was played at Boca West Resort and Club and Broken Sound Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida from 1983 to 1986; at Palm Beach Polo Club, Wellington Club and Greenview Cove Country Club in West Palm Beach, Florida from 1987 to 1988; at Palm Beach Polo Club (Cypress and Dunes courses) and Wellington Club in 1989; and at Binks Forest Country Club and Wellington Club in Wellington, Florida in 1990. Curtis Strange
Curtis Northrup Strange (born January 30, 1955) is an American professional golfer and TV color commentator. He is the winner of consecutive U.S. Open titles and a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame and Virginia Sports Hall of Fame. He spent over 200 weeks in the top-10 of the Official World Golf Ranking between their debut in 1986 and 1990. Nancy Marie Lopez (born January 6, 1957) is an American former professional golfer. She became a member of the LPGA Tour in 1977 and won 48 LPGA Tour events, including three major championships. Amateur career Lopez won the New Mexico Women's Amateur at age 12 in 1969, and the U.S. Girls' Junior in 1972 and 1974, at ages 15 and 17, respectively. Lori Garbacz (born August 11, 1958) is an American professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour for sixteen years. College career From South Bend, Indiana, Garbacz attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she played for coach Mimi Ryan's Florida Gators women's golf team in 1977 and 1978. Hal Evan Sutton (born April 28, 1958) is an American professional golfer, currently playing on the PGA Tour Champions, who achieved 14 victories on the PGA Tour, including a major championship, the 1983 PGA Championship, and the 1983 Tournament Players Championship.
