Colonel Mike E. Attah was the Military Administrator of Anambra State in Nigeria from 9 December 1993 to 21 August 1996 during the military regime of General Sani Abacha. On October 25, 1995, Mike Attah set up a Commission of Inquiry to investigate violent disturbances that had erupted on 30 September 1995 between the Aguleri and Umuleri Umueri, also known and pronounced as Umuleri, is an ancient town in the Anambra State of Southeastern Nigeria. Rufai Garba
Rufai Garba was the Military Administrator of Anambra State in Nigeria from 21 December 1996 to 6 August 1998 during the military regime of General Sani Abacha, and then of Sokoto State from 6 August 1998 to 29 May 1999 during the transitional regime of General Abdulsalami Abubakar, when he handed over to the elected Executive Governor Attahiru Bafarawa, Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa. As Anambra Governor he approved construction of a headquarters building for the State Education Commission, but nothing was done until work started in 2009. In February 1998, a fire of unexplained cause burnt down the governor's office in Anambra State Government House. Anambra State
Anambra State is a Nigerian state, located in the southeastern region of the country. The state was created on August 27, 1991. Anambra state is bounded by Delta State to the west, Imo State to the south, Enugu State to the east and Kogi State to the north. Sani Abacha
Sani Abacha (20 September 1943 – 8 June 1998) was a Nigerian military officer and politician who ruled as the military head of state of Nigeria from 1993 until his death in 1998. He seized power on 17 November 1993 in the last successful coup d'etat in the military history of Nigeria. He was the Chief of Army Staff between 1985 to 1990; Chief of Defence Staff between 1990 to 1993; and Minister of Defence. Abacha became the first Nigerian Army officer to attain the rank of a full military general without skipping a single rank. His rule saw the achievement of several economic feats and also recorded human rights abuses and several political assassinations. Umuleri
Umueri, also known and pronounced as Umuleri, is an ancient town in the Anambra State of Southeastern Nigeria. The people of Umueri belong to the Igbo ethnic group, and the town has an estimated population of 1,500,000. It is located within the Anambra Valley, bordered by the Anambra River (''Omabala'' River) and Anam communities in the north, Nteje to the south, Aguleri and Nando in the east and Nsugbe in the western flank.
